Currently on Maternity Leave. Expecting baby in early February!
Thank you for understanding that I am taking some time away from my public class offerings. For some background information though, when teaching regularly, the two main offerings I provide are Hour of Power & Yin Yoga. I see beauty in seeking a balance between strength and flexibility. Hour of Power is Modeled off an Ashtanga practice and focuses on core strength, breath & balance. These classes deliver a fitness-based flow practice often earlier in the day. Expect innovative sequencing, arm balances, inversions, and fun playlists. Yin Yoga is a practice that focuses on releasing and lengthening myofascia, the connective tissues of the body. Students relax into each pose for an extended period of time (always later in the evening). Yin is a reflective, gentle, and deeply effective practice using deep breathing and focus on the exhale breath to help release myofascial tissue. Be prepared for longer holds and passive stretches. The candles are always lit, the playlists are soothing and there is a focus on opening the four corners of the body-hips and shoulders- to create blissful release.
