Alignment

Vertically stack hips over knees. Posterior scoop to the pelvis to lengthen the low back and prepare for the backbend. Hug shoulders back and broaden collarbones wide. Keep chin in horizontal line with forehead.

Refinement

To modify, use a bolster between the ankles and the hands. To deepen walk hands to calves or backs of knees.
