Barre Booty

This class begins with a 2 minute squat warm up. You will learn how to maximize your squat with concentric loading of the muscles on the way down, and eccentric lengthening of the muscles on the way up! Then we move into a tabata of 4 exercises on one side, then the same 4 on side 2.  Lastly we close with another 2 minute squat burn before enjoying a few stretches to close. I took my first adult class as an adult and was amazed at how using the barre helped me refine my poses so much more. Barre yoga really helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture. I have also noticed that it increases cardiovascular endurance and metabolism, which helps to quickly burn calories. Regular barre workouts can increase your bone density, which can help prevent conditions like osteoporosis.
