This practice is part of the Level 1 Yoga Bundle. It is an accessible introduction to a flow yoga class giving clear instructions and educational anecdotes to support your understanding of backbends.

This is most effective practice to deepen your thoracic extension and create the most expansive poses possible while honoring the spine. The sequence begins standing in tadasana at the top of the yoga mat.

Expect two standing series- the first from a lunge position and the second from a warrior 2 position. Close with a standing, seated and then supine version of figure 4 pose prior to savasana.
