Slow Flow – Shoulders

We begin by looking at the back body- learning about the levator scapulae, rhomboids, serratus anterior.
We talk a lot about them in this class in order the upper back alignment supports posture as well as alignment in nearly all yoga poses.
In this class expect sun salutations to warm up, shoulder flossing with a strap. The slow flows in this class play with 3 different arm positions- hands clasped behind back, garudasana arms and gomukhasana arms woven into various standing and seated poses.
Your shoulders will feel relaxed after this sequence- enjoy.
